Compass House

I have never had a vacation experience as perfect as this. Compass House in Tamarindo is the epitome of the perfect location, luxury and tranquillity. The pool and hot tub are a body embracing joy and the view from both are unparalleled! The beds are extraordinay and all the rooms have separate climate control. Compass House has an amazing ‘Indoor Embraces Outdoor’ feel and you’re always experiencing the beauty of Tamarindo from every room and angle. With an indoor and outdoor kitchen (including a pizza oven) there is no shortage of space to entertain your friends and family. Tons of seating indoor and out as well.I can’t think of a more luxurious, unique and romantic place to experience a private retreat or life changing group or family event. I can’t wait to experience Compass House many more times in the future!

We were a party of 9 and had an amazing time at this home. Close driving distance to beach from house but does require an ATV or AWD vehicle to navigate down to the beach or town. Parking was not an issue. Security guard on premise during the evenings. Housekeepers were fantastic and available . Gorgeous infinity pool with hot tub and amazing sunset views each night.

Property was as advertised, you tube videos were spot on. Great views of Tamarindo beach from the pool area, the pool was awesome. Loved the outside area, we had breakfast there every morning. There was a guard at the property in the evenings. The Sonos sound system was nice, the outside grill area was great we used it a few times. Concierge service was great, we used them all the time to book excursions, airports pickups, restaurant reservations and also a good source of information about the area. Our House Mom was awesome, she made us breakfast ever morning, cleaned the rooms as needed, provide pool towels, etc. She was great to have around the house and made our stay very welcoming and fun. Compass house was awesome, can't say enough good things, we had 10 folks stay there over the week and they all loved the house and the town of Tamarindo.

By far one of the most impressive homes we have stayed at! It is hard to beat the view you get from any of the bedrooms or from the pool. The staff do a excellent job making sure you enjoy your stay. If you are looking for a high end accommodation I would strongly recommend the Compass house!!

This house has got to be the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at! Not only is it immaculately clean and modern, but the attention to details the owners bit is impressive. From impressive views at EVERY room, to modern technologies like Sonos, automatic blinds, automatic gates, and WiFi, staying here felt like a futuristic experience. Even more impressive was the amazing service we received from the owners and their staff. They were available and responsible for the smallest of questions and suggestions, to more pressing matters like our car breaking down.

Beautiful, memorable, fabulous. An absolute dream to stay!! Staff, atmosphere, environment, owners. 5 star all the way💥💥

Wow!!! This place was amazing! Location was perfect. This house accommodated our extremely large group of friends. We got a private chef and ate dinner and breakfast outside every morning and evening. The living room or common area had sliding pocket glass doors that open up into the infinity pool... of course looking out over the endless panoramic view of the ocean. You could literally sit in the pool with a cocktail and socialize with the living room crowd. Opening up the front door and all glass pocket sliding doors allows for a true amazing breeze throughout the house. If your not a cool breeze type person the air conditioning works like a champ!! I would encourage anyone to stay here. Get a group of friends and family and go to the Compass House in Costa Rica❤️❤️♥️😁🙏🏻 Thank you

Wow! The Compsss house does not disappoint! The size and style are both massively impressive! The views are endless and breathtaking of Tamarindo beach. There were 18 of us and plenty of space to party. With all the sliding glass doors , you can open the whole house up to the beautiful Costa Rica climate. My favorite was the infinity pool with a coctail in hand watching the sunset melt over Tamarindo beach every night. If you really want to spoil yourself get the personal chef to come in a few nights. Whole experience here was a hands down 10 out of 10, especially for big groups.
